You can really learn a lot just listening to a podcast like this one. You won’t be too sure what, but that’s fine.

There has been rarely a day passed without listening to one or two of your talks. Professor Harrison your program has been to me a spiritual source of life from which I have taken much pleasure and solace in my solitary life . Even listening to your voice gives me consolation, there is something...Read full review »

I rarely write reviews. I suppose I take podcasts for granted, even the good ones, which are quite rare. They play such a key role in my day-to-day life, which perhaps allows me to take them for granted. I’m a postgrad living in London and every day I walk to campus at UCL from my flat in North...Read full review »

This is one of my top 5 favourite Podcasts. I am so happy I discovered it and I hope it continues for ever (ok, for a long time). The range of subjects covered ensures the show never becomes repetitive or boring and it is often thought provoking. Listen to this programme if you want to sound well...Read full review »

I recently discovered this show after reading an essay by Harrison. I've been picking and choosing my way through the back catalogue, each show of which has been a deeply engaging and welcome respite from the makers of small talk and trivialities that dominate so much of the culture. Harrison...Read full review »

One of a kind. Inspirational, educational, and frustrating at the same time. Absolutely love getting lost in the conversations - your mind will wander off into unexpected domains.

I'd just like to throw out there that his recent podcast about David Foster Wallace is godawful torture. The graduate student he interviews is just enamored with Wallace but isn't able to say so without mentioning ridiculously academic terms like "mobile synecdoches." Michael...Read full review »

Dr Harrison and its program EO is my favority. I particularly love the broad range of topics this podcast covers; it is demonstrably a great service to humanist endeavors of expanding minds and opening hearts to the many subjects of the human endeavor situtated on planet Earth

I find Robert Harrison's opening monologues to be trite and frustrating because they add very little to the discussion. I also find his " insights" into the subject matter add very little understanding. His guests are all experts in their fields and I have found the discussions on...Read full review »

Requisite nourishment for the thinking man. Entitled Opinions is the podcast par excellence, and I could scarcely contain my joy at seeing a new episode downloading this morning after a nearly 12 month hiatus. Robert Harrison is the Jim Morrisson of the podcast world. Regards from Hafnarfjordur,...Read full review »

This podcast has expanded my mind, my life... I work in a very different field that what the podcasts cover. These hours spent listening to Entitled Opinions are like laying on green grass in the summers at my Grandmother's house - looking up at the clouds and dreaming...thinking. This is...Read full review »

Entitled opinions has got to be one of the best finds on iTunesU. Fantastic discussions. Always a helpfull introduction to the topic under discussion, Robert Harrison is cool and obviously a true scholar.

More of conversations than interviews. Dr. Harrison is insightful in the way he leads and engages. After listening to the opening music many times I find it annoying. It is the sound equivalent to Chinese water torture.

This is a truly great podcast, never dull. covers a broad range of topics. arts and humanities focused. simply a must listen podcast . makes me wish there were more podcasts of this quality.

Some interviewers interrogate, some confront, some compete. Robert Harrison converses; that is, collaborates with his guests on an exploration of the topic of the day, such that guests and host (and listeners) often come to new understandings, new ideas, new perspectives. He occasionally goes out...Read full review »

I'm thankful for this collection. No longer do I have to listen to that which mass media radio chooses to throw at me during my two hour work commute.
