“Whether you are a film nut/student like myself or not you half to respect how organized this show is. It rivals many of the podcasts brought from real radio stations or tv shows as opposed to some which just have people rambling off the cuff. As far as content goes their can't be much butter for film buffs. The one thing that sets them apart is that they embrace the idea of still being able to discover a movie that may have been out for the better part of the past century, which has become a greater possibility due to the DVD format. They also have very little trouble admiting they haven't seen some of the "classics". Finally they also find a way to make semi-personal connections with their audience without being creepy as shown in their "special movie memories" episode. Oh yeah and theres the great reviews for new films too which show great variety and that Adam and Sam are willing to take a movie like Talledega Nights for what it is and then speak intellegently about a Herzog. Adam and Sam seemed to dwell on the negatives and left me not wanting to see any movie they reviewed because they made it out to seem so terrible. This would...”Read full review »
