Enjoyable and informative!
This is an excellent podcast if you’re interested in the actual science behind what exercises to do and why. Shannon is extremely knowledgeable (and has the degrees to prove it). She helps dispel common fitness notions (such as “no pain, no gain”) so that you can the most out of your workout. Listening to her has made rethink my fitness priorities, and I thank her for that.

this podcast allowed me to learn to respect my body. I learned that even if we train for less time and less intense, we can have results. When we over train, our cortisol increases which can have negative effects on expected results and on our hormone balance.
