As a male pilates instructor / studio owner in his late 50’s who was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis after experiencing a thoracic compression fracture I found this discussion interesting and informative. I’ve recently (past 8 months) begun to introduce heavier weights into my studio and...Read full review »

Love this podcast & Nikki’s approach to fitness generally. Very down to earth and makes me feel less pressurised in this digital world. One of the few accounts and podcasts that feels friendly and supportive & packed with practical advice too. Thank You 😊

Nikki gets real and opens that communication for those of us that are needing the voice of advocacy in the Pilates industry. I listened to episode 35 today because I saw the guest, Beth! I respect Beth’s teachings in Pilates and her workshop, Trauma Informed Pilates. Finally, opening our eyes to...Read full review »

Nikki has been an industry friend, mentor, and colleague of mine for several years now. We’ve traded places; each taking turns as guest and host on each other’s podcasts. You’d be hard pressed to find someone more willing to tackle the good, the bad and the ugly of what the fitness industry...Read full review »

I agreed with comments and points raised by your guest Kathy Dodd. I’m 64 and doing the most consistent yoga and movement practice ever. The online classes are so helpful and I relate to the need for functional movement and safety. And now I have a new podcast to listen to. Thank you!

I already loved Nikki’s other podcasts and this is a great way to see her interests in movement, Pilates and fitness meld together. She interviews a wide range of people in fitness and as always has a great array of questions and insights. Definitely worth listening to as a teacher or coach!

This podcast should be required listening for anyone who eats, breathes, and moves (or plans on doing so in the next 24 hours). As a physical therapist, I appreciate the smart and practical approach to health and fitness...Read full review »

It seems that more and more the fitness industry is getting super serious about how you should be working out/eating/sleeping. Everything is “competitive fitness”. Nikki cuts through all that BS with a sane approach to fitness as well as her awesome sense of humour. After all, we do all this...Read full review »
