How a Diagnosis of PCOS launched her journey to being an athlete. Sher Tapang @sher.ravesfitness is a triathlete, PCOS warrior, mother, race director, and manager. Sher discussed her struggles with the hormonal condition PCOS, which affects between 8% and 10% of reproductive aged women ( WHO), and how she used her diagnosis to fuel her journey to health and happiness. Sher has taken on a range of endurance races including the 70.3 Ironman and triathlon. She shares how she motivated herself, and made the journey to being an athlete, and how she continued this despite giving birth. And as someone who holds down a full-time job, is a race director, and mother she shows us all how commitments don't have to hold us back from. And as our first guest from the Philippines there is some wider discussion around some new and different challenges, especially those specific to being female.
