Oh my gosh! Guilty! I'm one of THOSE dietitians who always felt I had to t least acknowledge weight loss just to get patients in the door :( The rational (or at least I thought it was rational) part of me figured that women want to be smaller so I could help them with that and also introduce the idea of eating intuitively. I'm happy to say I may finally be catching on and realizing that without body positivity the goal of weight loss is fraught with frustration and ultimately disappointment. We need more of this voice that denounces dieting and weight loss as a way to happiness and health! Kudos to you Christy for packing the HAES message in a palatable inspiring way!Read full review »
