Good premise, poorly produced
I'm sad to see that this is from the HowStuffWorks family of podcasts. While friendly banter and tangents are a hallmark of the other Stuff podcasts, this one doesn't engage nearly as much and feels awkward and cumbersome to listen to. What could be covered in 5 minutes takes 20, and doesn't feel like it was covered with any depth. What bothers me just as much is the poor production. Cuts and shortening of gaps are very noticeable compared to other podcasts of the caliber they are aiming for. The volume fluctuates a lot and audio artifacts from compression are far too noticeable. Even the ads for this they play in other podcasts has a very audible glitch in it.Read full review »
