I've been a fan of HowStuffWorks podcasts for awhile now and was very excited when I heard about this new one. If you want someone to just list a bunch of names and dates and recite scientific facts, get your phone to read a Wikipedia page to you. These ladies make the science and history of food interesting and memorable by mixing in their own opinions and the occasional tangent (which all people do, so 1 star reviewers can just get over themselves).Read full review »

I like the subjects and content thus far however, the constant nervous/fake laughter is extremely distracting. Whether they are giggling about slavery on sugar plantations or frozen fish sticks, it takes away from the educational focus that SYSK podcasts have.
