One of the most engaging and entertaining podacsts on the scene today, FRIGHTDAY effortlessly combines horror, humor, and hocus pocus to create one excellent show. Lactose intolerant leader, Byron, and his cynical and sarcastic friend, Sam, provide a deeper look into the ins and outs of film-making whilst Captain Kelly (when not giving us in-depth reports on various cryptids and conspiracies - arguably my favourite part of the show) analyses the more human elements of horror such as plot, characters, and of course, jump scares. This rag-tag group of friends provide their listeners with spot-on reviews, insights into up and coming efforts in the horror genre, and a sense of camaraderie and creativity that is unique to FRIGHTDAY. As Byron might say: "It's pretty fun!". FRIGHTDAY reintroduced me to horror and I could not be more happy about it! P.S. I'm still waiting for the cult episode.Read full review »
