Great podcast. I appreciate that no left vs right politics are injected into conversation. After a couple dozen episodes I can’t even guess where the host sits politically because he never pontificates. Thanks!

As a student of NatSec policy and former staffer, I decided to take a listen to this podcast. From a few minutes in, I could something was off, so I decided to look into FDD. In its own admission, it was created to "provide education to enhance Israel's image in North America" and in...Read full review »

I used to listen before the Afghanistan NEO and fell off. I was hoping to hear an objective take on the current events in Gaza/Palestine. Instead, it is incredibly pro-Israel content fueled by data from the IDF. Unfortunately, this topic is such a polarized issue, that individuals who used to...Read full review »

Have been following Bill since Afghanistan. Wish the administration was as sensible. Wish they were wrong in their assessment. Almost always correct.

Good podcast as far as information regarding terror groups around the world. I have learned a lot. However, it is very Pro-Israel and conservative politically.

I’m a new listener, I found the podcast after 10/7 because I realized I needed to understand more about the region. I have learned a lot from listening to Generation Jihad. I share the sense pessimism at least for now. It’s changed the way I view the intersection of politics & consequences....Read full review »

Behnam Ben Taleblu provides perspectives and analysis that broadens understanding of Iran’s role in the Middle East and the need for effective US strategy to counter Iran’s challenge to US interests in the region.

The Battle of Gaza sounds terrifying - a combination of Stalingrad’s urban warfare and Iwo Jima’s interconnecting tunnels, camouflaged harden defenses & thousands of fanatical defenders. Questions: Why isn’t the UN condemning Hamas for government corruption/using its humanitarian donations...Read full review »

I’ve listened to a couple of episodes of this pod now and it is well worth your time. However I’d recommend you listen with a sceptical ear. The perspective is pretty offensive realist (or appears to be to my old mildly initiated ear) and tends to discount both US interests (they’re a given, not...Read full review »

I’ve followed Bill and Tom through the Long War Journal, FDD, and now Generation Jihad. Time and again for years they get it right when so few do. They cut through everyone’s agendas. I know they have a strong following with people whose lives depend on understanding the landscape in this very...Read full review »

This show has potential but the amount of time the hosts complain about being outsiders and scorned by everyone in the national security community gives me the impression they have an inferiority complex. Stick to the content, not the whining.

The hosts are awkward and can be long-winded. The bias of the show is unabashedly pro-war, and the podcast does not attempt to present a balanced perspective. But the hosts are incredibly knowledgeable and well-informed. It's the best in depth information about what's actually going on...Read full review »

Very dismissive of anything not from their associates and for “experts” their inability to pronounce any names correctly says a lot about their attention to detail. Roggio’s inability to speak without getting out of breath within 3-4 words is really annoying too.

After 9-11 the nation was focused on the threats posed by the evil groups that wish we were dead. That is over. Keep it up guys! You have kept the faith even though many of our leaders have forgotten about the Jihadi threat that spawned 9/11. The best way to honor the sacrifices of brave Americans is to make sure it was not in vain. “There is no substitute for Victory”.
