Claims to empower women instead choose division
Disappointing to see a podcast that claims to empower women instead choose division and contempt for those with different perspectives. Rayna’s comments, like 'I'm genuinely sickened by a lot of you,' reveal a troubling lack of respect for listeners who may see things differently. And her overblown statement about 'mourning' feels both unnecessarily dramatic and out of touch. Real women face life-threatening challenges every day—consider those in Afghanistan, for example, who are fighting for even a fraction of the freedoms we take for granted here. Instead of using this platform to unite or uplift, you’re choosing to spread negativity and judgment, driving wedges between women based on political views. I wouldn’t be surprised if you dismiss this review or make fun of it, just like you did with the 'stupid live shows' girl. But I won’t be hearing it, because I’m done listening to this biased, alienating podcast. Let’s aim to be Team USA no matter what, and more respectful to the women that gave you this platform that you take for granted.Read full review »
