Makes me feel less isolated
I’ve been listening to Girlscamp for over a year and I’m tremendously grateful for the work Hayley is doing. I deeply admire how Hayley articulates her feelings and opinions, and I have found that SO much of my own journey deconstructing from religion (Christianity) parallels the Mormon deconstruction experience. Hayley is often able to put into words EXACTLY what I’m feeling, which has made me feel so much less isolated during what can be a very tricky and lonely time - transitioning away from a religion and from what you were taught to believe is undoubtedly the truth can be very difficult and brings up a LOT of guilt, fear, etc. This podcast has truly provided me with a sense of community and brings me joy every single week. Hayley, I think you are an incredible host and I’m so inspired by you! I appreciate your honesty and how real you are - it is abundantly apparent that you are showing up as your authentic self, which is so admirable. I HIGHLY recommend this podcast!

It’s so difficult leaving the LDS church and can feel very lonely, confusing, scary, and strange, especially while in a marriage. This podcast went through all the dynamics of that transition through the experiences of...Read full review »
