Thank you Hayley for all the thoughtful effort you put into this show - I can only imagine it’s helped so many people like me going through faith deconstruction. You are a treasure!

I‘m neither Ex-Mormon nor have ever been particularly religious, but this has quickly become one of my favourite podcasts. Hayley discusses the topics in such an interesting, eloquent way, critically but also with empathy. An absolutely fascinating listen!

This is an incredible story told by an astonishing narrator, Hayley Rawle. It’s well worth the investment in your time to start from the first episode. It will not disappoint. 10/10.

I found the pod after SLOMW came out and have slowly been listening to each episode. I love how the host gives a safe space for people to share their stories, no matter where they are on their journey of deconstruction. And for what it’s worth, I find the hosts voice to be very calming! (For...Read full review »

I don’t know Hayley personally but each episode, with a guest or solo, I feel like I’m digging into the deepest and funnest of conversations with a good friend. When I left the church I grew apart from my TBM friends. We used to sit around a fire many times and share scary mission stories we had...Read full review »

This podcast just doesn’t really give off a positive energy. Although some episodes I think could be valuable for individuals struggling in their religious spaces- I think it lacks respect and any type of nuance. This person just seems angry and found a platform to express that anger. Just not...Read full review »

Hayley is so eloquent, genuine, brave, and sincere. I have never been Mormon, but I grew up in a predominantly Mormon community, so the topic is so fascinating to me. Will be a listener for as long as the podcast is around!!

I don’t care what religion she was or is, this podcast has so much negativity about religion and it’s sad. I’ve only listened to a few episodes and will not be listening to any others. It’s one thing to leave a religion, but it’s a whole different kind of bitter to start a podcast purely to...Read full review »

This podcast has been such an amazing resource as someone who has recently left the LDS church. It approaches subjects with respect, and without the intense negativity that other podcasts and pages have (which is understandable but was hard for me personally when I was freshly out). So much misinformation and personal vendetta. If you don’t believe in the gospel anymore no one is forcing you to stay or believe- but how is your life enriched by dwelling on your own negative engagement with the church? It makes no sense. Also watch sources- the CES letter has been debunked...Read full review »

I’m a “never Mormon”, but have always been intrigued by what seemed to be a very secretive religion. I have enjoyed all of the actual content; however, the gratuitous use of God’s name in vain is not only a turnoff, but completely unnecessary. The content stands on its own and doesn’t benefit...Read full review »

I’m a new follower of your pod and really enjoyed the Mormonism 101 episode. I’m not Mormon, but have been intrigued by the culture for years. My interest was spurred after reading Under the Banner of Heaven (tho I understand that the LDS church doesn’t condone polygamy in modern time). I’d...Read full review »

I think Girlscamp does a pretty good job of creating a place for post Mormon women to gather and have some fun with the trauma so many of us have. It’s healing in a lot of ways. I’m a never been Mormon and I was always curious about all the rules and secrets of the LDS religion. I’m not completely clueless because I grew up in Utah. While Mormon Stories my first post-Mormon podcast, I found that the overall vibe of MS was a bit too much after a while.
