I have been playing bass guitar for 31 years and since I am a vocalist as well, I have been playing guitar seriously for 20 years. Desi has the ability to explain the fretboard in relation to music theory (keys, scales, modes, inversions, harmonies, voicing, etc.) in a way that makes perfect sense! He also makes it interesting because Desi uses song examples to help train our ears better to hear what we are playing and not just running through scales and modes up and down the fretboard.
