A great tool for learning the fretboard
I have already learned possibly 50% of this material before at some point or other but as soon as I stopped playing it evey day I forget it a lot quicker than I learnt it. After downloading this podcast I have found it so much easier to retain the information. Desi makes it seem like you have a real tutor teaching you and gives loads of usefull tips to help remember things like note positions and scale shapes all over the neck. I even burned the podcasts to a cd and listen to them in the car on the way to work. I am now thinking more about what I play and it isn't a hit and miss affair like it has been up until now. I was keen to get more information about proper guitar related theory so I bought the book " Fretboard Theory " and I can honestly say it is the best guitar book I have bought.Read full review »
