“I stumbled upon this podcast in yet another search for something to help me get motivated to lose this weight. I am 10 episodes in and I have never had someone more accurately portray my inner thoughts out loud. I am binging all these episodes and it is very exciting to use a different approach to combat my thoughts around food rather than continuously failing at diets without the understanding of why. I feel like I am learning so much about the reasons why I have all the thoughts in my brain that are so hard to combat surrounding food.
I did, however, give only four stars because the episodes are so monotone. I am trying so hard to listen and pay attention but my brain keeps drifting off because it’s like one continuous sentence that doesn’t ever change volume or pitch or pace or anything. I end up having to rewind the episode several times because I realized I have drifted off and I’m thinking about other things. I wish there was a little more pep or excitement or something to draw you in a little more. Because I really am trying hard to focus and pay attention! The information is so valuable and spot on!”
