Scott Carrier’s voice is rare and necessary. I’ve missed you,Scott. I’m glad you’re back, but, like you, I wish it weren’t under these circumstances. Please keep doing the good work.

Title says it all, thoughgul the insights, giving a voice to free thinkers and such. Pit your bias away for a moment and give this a listen. Thanks for the hours of thought provoking audio.

Very enlightening! This podcast makes it possible to understand what others are thinking without having to engage with them directly. My conclusion is that we are so divided that any sort of consensus is highly unlikely.

An incredible voice for America, for humanity. I don’t really listen to podcasts much anymore. I sure hope Scott Carrier is still making work, and that it’ll turn up somewhere soon.

I like the work of Scott Carrier a lot. If you were to evaluate it by conventional standards, you could identify a lot shortcomings. So don’t. He’s more of an artist than a craftsman and he happens to be an exceptionally good artist. Sometimes he knows what he’s doing and sometimes he...Read full review »

I love this podcast. Scott Carrier feels like Jack Kerouac’s kind little brother, rolling across America (and other countries) searching for dialog, listening to personal experiences and celebrating the humanity of those he encounters. Every episode feels like a mini road trip and I feel better...Read full review »

Scott talks in a sort of way that reminds me of pines, hills, moss, bugs, the stream, a hill and that hidden valley far away. His stories takes me back and forth in time in the us, and suddenly the life of a face of rock a world away from me is alive. I lose my negative chaos in Scott’s slanted...Read full review »

Listened to your ‘Creeped Out’. You slept in a cornfield? You won’t even go talk to people to learn more about them, you just assume they are different than you? You just watch them from a distance and report on what you think you know? They should be the ones creeped out by you, but they go on...Read full review »

This is one of my favorite podcasts! From his interviews traveling through Trump Country, a recording of the death of a person at the border, to a hike through the pacific northwest, this podcast will grip you with its deep honesty. I’m a long time listener and I love this show. The recent stories really mean a lot to me. The latest one I listened to twice in a row. I’m around all these different people at work daily. Some are far right, some far left. I can’t believe how divided they've become. Thanks Scott!Read full review »

Carrier's voice is calm and curious, modest, respectful. He can like the people he disagrees with, and them him in return. More a pilgrim than a crusader. I was moved by a deep sense of how sanity and decency can take the edge off our fear and anger and hatred and righteousness, and a...Read full review »

Mr. Carrier is determined to produce art in a medium that many think structurally excludes the possibility. I think he's successful more often than not. This is amazing: producing a single work of art in a lifetime would be an accomplishment. He manages this regularly. Also, I can't...Read full review »

Extraordinary Podcast interview with Elliott Woods , a Veteran of our unending wars. He has a balanced and on the scene approach which is compelling. Too bad our foreign policy “ experts “ didn’t speak to him before this situation got out of control.
