Yo be totally honest with you man, I’ve been seeing your YouTube videos pop up for a nearly a year now but I would always neglect to click on them because of how well groomed your beard and hair are.😅 I would assume that no one who takes that much care of their appearance could be deep,...Read full review »

I just went back and listened to the episode on 2/5/23. Recently, in the past couple of months I have been told by my therapist that she just doesn’t know what else there is to try, that we’ve tried just about everything. The moment she said that, nothing else she said even remotely connected...Read full review »

I love the podcast but I find it really annoying that In a 15 min podcast you have 4-6 ad breaks. It makes it hard to stay in it and focused. I think a longer ad break less frequently would be a better solution. That is just my opinion, might be the only one but thought I would share.

I give the doctor and his content 5 stars, but I may stop listening altogether as the ads are becoming overly intrusive. It’s one thing when ads are front-loaded, but altogether worse when they suddenly interrupt the flow to tell me about „Birds Eye Chicken“. It’s depressing in general and more...Read full review »

The host psychologist is very helpful, relatable, understanding, and effective in his ways. The personal anecdotes with a hint of empathy and rationality in his tone of voice help drive his points home with sincerity and empowerment unseen from other psychologists on different platforms. To me,...Read full review »

Such a good series with very clear applicable wisdom and techniques. No clickbait, no courses/ classes/ trainings or other expensive upper level content being pushed. This is the kind of podcast you wish other psychology podcasts were like, but it definitely speaks to a specific type of person...Read full review »

My personal feeling about what you described is you are experiencing a combination of depression with anhedonia and a form of DPDR. Thanks for your sharing and being vulnerable!

For some reason hearing Dr Scott talking about what it’s like living with the pain of depression without sugar coating as someone who has experienced it is a rare validation and extremely helpful.
