I have friends that hunt but not many that have the same passion I do. It’s nice to be able to listen to guys who share the passion of deer. Makes the off season that more bearable. Thanks guys

The HUNTR crew hosted a fantastic deep dive discussion on the fight against anti-hunting initiatives with Dan Gates from CRWM. Definitely the best conversation I have heard on the topic so far. Appreciate you guys!

Nothing like a podcast where the hosts argue with each other and don’t let their guest talk 🤦🏻‍♂️
Philpresseau via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 03/19/24
The podcast seems to be well produced, but very poorly hosted. They somehow get really high profile guests on to listen to hosts ramble about “hot takes”. Definitely feels like the podcast is built for reels/tik toks and lacks the depth of a real back and forth conversation. More focus on the art...Read full review »

I’ve listened to multiple podcasts now and enjoy them quite a bit except for the crying about baiting. In my opinion if you hunt over food plots that you put on the land your hunting over “bait”. If you sit over a cornfield that was put out by humans your hunting over bait. Unless your solely...Read full review »

I have listened to over a half dozen full episodes and numerous partial episodes. The guests are great and bring varied knowledge and experience to the discussion. No grade inflation as I look at three stars as average. My personal take is that I find it difficult to listen with all the...Read full review »

Thanks guys for all the helpful information and discussions. I hunt Pennsylvania and Ohio and your information has been helpful! Keep on banging the drum.

I like that their podcasts last nearly 3 hours. They have fantastic guests and one hour doesn’t scratch the surface of what that interview can cover.

?
Do they ever let their guests talk, consistently interrupting or talking over their guest.
Mk89z via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/26/24
STOP TALKING OVER EACH OTHER. Let the guest finish what are saying. Yes I’m talking about you Jared.
Rj-duckman via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/03/24
I would rather listen to 4 hours of ads then hear them talk over each other, talk about themselves, or interview convicted poachers. Sorry excuse of hunting meeting. God bless
Trail Cam Junkie via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 12/20/23
These guys love to hear themselves talk. Why have the guest on if you’re just going to continuously talk over them? Also, they continuously badmouth certain ideas and strategies, but then turn around and do it themselves.

I found the Huntr podcast recently and I really like the content. As a podcaster myself I know some things about audio. In almost every episode one host will be at a normal volume, but the other will be so quiet that I can barely hear what he is saying. So I crank up the podcast in my truck to...Read full review »

Was very impressed with the show and most impressed with the production side of it. Have listened to a lot of podcasts, not many have production quality as high as this one!

Only informative if you hunt the midwest on a private farm. In a world where hunters turn to Youtube and podcasts for terrible hunting advice, these two answer the call!
Huntr Hater via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/21/23
These guys have good podcast discussions, good ideas, and discuss good topics. But when they have guests, they can’t get out of their own way when they have someone on that listeners actually want to listen to. More often than not, they talk over them and discuss their own anecdotal experiences...Read full review »

Not a hunter, but you all provide great analysis of the issues about access, regulations, and the "hunting industry" and it's impact on the sport. I'm a fairly avid weekend bass fisherman, and some of the themes you all discuss are very relevant when applied to lake access,...Read full review »

Lots of great information! Would love it if there was a way to ask questions but I understand it’s not your style of the show.

Great show. I listen to a LOT of podcasts and this is one of my favorites. Always a great day when a new episode comes out.

I came to listen to their show with Matt Rinella and it was painful to listen to. The hosts tend to ramble which is probably why their shows are so long. The Matt Rinella episode was even worse because three of them have nearly the same opinions on the main subjects so they spent 3 hours just...Read full review »

Honestly it took me a while to like Jared and Jeremy with their controversial opinions and hot takes but now it’s my favorite hunting podcast. Like this podcast until you get you seem to be going against promoting hunting and growing as a Community! And Matt Rinella is the worst gas you could’ve ever brought on, showed you guys true colors!

I love the show and the content but I can’t listen to it all at once. I have to take a break because they talk over each other and the guest constantly and it drives me crazy.

Always enjoyed the podcast, very interested to hear the episode with Bowmar…but my lord why did you interrupt him CONSTANTLY…the conversation was nothing but stop and go…you should re-listen

They use their guests name as clickbait since the two hosts never give them an opportunity to expand on a thought or question without cutting them off and interjecting. The hosts are very proud and seem to really enjoy hearing themselves talk.
ihuntducks via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/22/23
I enjoy the show, but when they start talking about farming and agriculture, it’s very frustrating. As someone who grew up and works in the ag industry, they don’t know what they are talking about. It would be like me trying to do a podcast on real estate. They would just think I’m an idiot.

Best hunting podcast there is! I’ve listened for hours and hours, I filled my tags last year and plan on doing the same this year, but they actually gave me the inspiration I needed to do something with my life and make a change where I couldn’t find that in myself, I was working a soul sucking...Read full review »

I am a fan of this podcast and listen to each one when it comes out, BUT….the guys have to learn to stop interrupting the guests and let them finish their thoughts. And drop the cocky Hoyt commercial. Still a fan, but could be much better.

I really do like listening to the podcast which is why the episode with John Eberhardt was so disappointing. As hunters we need to support all of us and stay together to be able to resist the vocal non hunting community. I understand that people, including hunters, have opinions and most...Read full review »

I listed to the in depth conversation on “The game warden took my turkey” episode. I am thoroughly disappointed in the 2 hosts siding with the guest. As a person who was familiar with the case and the outcome, the guest was 100% wrong. To side with a guest who was busted by not 1 but 2 different...Read full review »

Yes, they do take a bit too much time away from their guests with stream of consciousness discussions. However, it’s important to understand what they are trying to accomplish. Where do I start? How these guys get ANY guests, let alone the amazing guests they have conned into coming on this show, to bless them with their knowledge and provide us an opportunity to hear what they have to say is borderline highway robbery. I really enjoy listening to these guys and they continue to bring in the top guys in the industry for spirited conversation, debate, and sharing knowledge! I agree with other comments that mention less interruptions and more steering the conversation would make for an even better show.

You guys get amazing and knowledge guest but you constantly cut them off and just have a random conversation between the two of you.

Need to let the guest be the one to do most of talking. These guys like to interrupt. Gotta learn if they want to be successful
alexj480 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/09/21
Landing great guests with great topics. But, they’re really bad at talking between themselves for the most part while their guest listen. Hopefully they can get these kinks worked out as they’re still new.
cheesebread79 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/30/21
Podcast has potential but you can tell these guys are new. Really bad about cutting in when guest are talking. A lot of podcasts start out that way. I think they feel pressure to talk when listeners want the guest to do the talking. With host using well timed questions. Hope it works out.
