Me gusta el buen humor con que imparte las lecciones, al tiempo que les da la importancia merecida. De los diferentes maestros que he escuchado, el que más me gusta junto con Tara Brach.

This podcast is an insightful depiction of Buddhism and its core beliefs. My only critique would be that the same speeches seem to be reused quite often. While the reminders are always pleasant I also find myself searching to hear something new.

One of the most authentic, pure, humble yet brilliant, western teachers of Buddhism alive today.

Joseph has helped me immeasurably. I love that he points out the simple instructions laying right there on the surface of the Dharma (which can sometimes seem pretty elaborate and esoteric). His straightforward guidance has pulled me back from getting lost in the weeds many times. Indispensable.

No one presents Western Buddhism like Joseph. He’s one of a kind. 5 stars.

I’m not sure whether it is his voice, delivery, or prelims wisdom, but I haven’t heard a teacher make the teachings more accessible than Joseph Goldstein. I love putting these on at night before I sleep to prime my mind.

Joseph presents the Buddha’s teachings with such clarity and a warm charming self/ no self way. I am eternally grateful to have found him. I listen to him frequently. I hope to be in his presence at least once in my lifetime.

I agree with all who have shared how great the podcast is and Joseph’s teaching is so helpful. But I’ve unsubscribed today as the ads have become louder and can be obnoxious. I have no idea how ads are chosen but they have become too intrusive for me.

If you start at the first episode, don’t mind the completely insufferable host at the beginning of the first podcast who can’t stop talking about himself while talking about no-self. Just keep going.

Finding and listening to Joseph’s meditations on an app led me to seek out more of his knowledge. His voice is perfectly pitched for listening and his thoughts are clearly articulated. Lastly he has a great sense of humor that is genuine. I just love him and look forward to reading his books.

It may be many years before I can go on a retreat at IMS, but I feel as if it’s almost as good to listen to Joseph’s talks here. HIs knowledge is deep, wide, and communicated in a way that beginners can understand.

If you want a warm soothing bath for your ears, it’s this dude. I’ve been making my way through all the talks, up to no. 82 now, and finding so much to think about in every one of them. Listening to them has also somehow calmed my mind a lot.
