invaluable resource for awakening & liberation
This has become an invaluable part of my daily practice here in rural australia. Being able to hear the discourses and teachings joseph gives on retreat without having to be there has illuminated many aspects of the practice and helped me avoid many pit falls that i may have indeed stumbled into if it wasn’t for joseph’s incredibly precise wisdom about the dhamma. I am attending my first 10-day goenka silent retreat and this can be credited to joseph for deepening my practice to a level where retreat became a necessary step forward on the path. thankyou so much for this podcast, it truly is a remarkable tool of awakening and liberation.

How can someone relax to singing bowl when there is constant intermittent talk throughout?!? This should be entitled, “guided bowl”

Joseph’s down-to-earth, thoughtful explanations of the Buddha’s teachings bring them to life. This is my favorite podcast.

If you start at the first episode, don’t mind the completely insufferable host at the beginning of the first podcast who can’t stop talking about himself while talking about no-self. Just keep going.
