EP. 21 Bored with Busy!
Description
How often do you answer this question “How are you?” with the response: “Busy!” or “Stressed”.
Well you might want to rethink that in future…
Jac did some research and learned an individual’s perceived level of busy-ness or being stressed
is heavily connected with their feelings of self worth and how others view their status.
Telling people you are busy/stressed all of the time could mean you’re trying to impress… or prove your worth
In this episode we talk about how to give yourself permission to do nothing… because that’s when creativity and clarity occur. Start taking control of your calendar (ditch the back to back meetings day in, day out!) and start realising life is short… 4,000 weeks in total if you
live to 76 years of age.
Ral tells us she already knows her next 2 holidays because she is a great believer in taking control of the time she has left, and she doesn’t want to spend most of that time in meetings or working. Smart girl.
Be like Ral and keep it real.
