This podcast is so anxiety-reducing!
I have been doing keto for two months now. I love the food, and I love the way I feel. However, I did find that after the first few weeks, I was falling into old, restrictive, habits. Counting calories, denying myself fats and proteins that I desired, and experiencing hunger and deprivation. Shawn it's so relatable and seemed to be speaking directly to my experience. Her emphasis on reducing stress, and not falling into old eating disordered type of behavior was so refreshing. Her focus on health and happiness really resonated with me. This show lost me when the host contradicted a Dr's recommendation without putting any disclaimer saying she is not a doctor. She had a small snippet of info and is not a doctor. There are better shows to listen to.Read full review »
