So much helpful info for this woman!
I have been low carb / keto for over 2-1/2years, losing 35kg so far. But I often plateau and I have chronic health conditions, Hashimotos and chronic digestive problems. Shawn highlighted some things I needed to hear, 1. More fat! I was in low carb purgatory and didn't know it, what it was called or what caused it!! More fat, I wasn't a fat phobe but somehow my fat and protein ratios weren't optimal, they are now! Getting off my plateau now! 2. Low stomach acid, I have been to my GP and a GI Specialist and this hadn't come up, when Shawn mentioned it I looked into it and low and behold there were my symptoms!! So now I'm on a n=1 experiment to see if I can resolve my chronic digestive issues! This could be epic!
