Refreshing and interesting
Ditto what others have said -- Paula's show is refreshingly down-to-earth, informative and interesting. There are no "inside jokes" that don't make sense to listeners or snide behavior here. She has a kind, warm manner that feels like you're talking with a longtime friend who's very familiar yet fascinating at the same time. I enjoy the format of personal stories, bagpipe adventures and knitting lessons. The Elizabeth Zimmermann letters are also a real treat. Keep it up Paula, you're on the top of my podcast list now!Read full review »

Paula's nature notes are wonderful. In addition to the normal "what's on the needles" talk she always manages to add a bit of extra information that keeps things interesting. Good job Paula.Read full review »
