“I recently moved to LA and found this while lookng for podcasts about it's history. The first episode I listented to was the first one - about librarys. It was kind of off-putting to me - very dry, the information delivered too fast. So I didn't listen again for awhile.
Happily, I came back to it. Greg and Daniel get more comfortable and better as these go along. The topics are interesting. They clearly love the city. They are playful with each other in a way I mostly enjoy (though occasionally the f with each other too much). They make one a month and they put a lot of work into each episode.
