A fun take on LA history
I found this while looking for something to help me procrastinate but man what a gem I discovered. These guys had me laughing from the opening and they impressed me further with their knowledge and interesting choice of subjects. As someone who did his MA in history, it's great to find awesome alternatives like this to the so-called "History Channel." And just wanted to correct one thing - “laowai” is basically just foreigner, “gweilo” is more similar to the “white ghost” connotation, though it still doesn’t really specify whiteness though often used toward white foreigners
