“What's great about this podcast:
- Serge has very clear pronunciation (my Taiwanese friend is amazed by how great my pronunciation is)
- his voice is easy to listen to (like a previous poster said, a hint of "Borat" that really endears you to him over time)
- he introduces material in a progressive fashion, so it's not too overwhelming on what to do next
- transcripts (if you purchase them) are available in traditional and simplified characters
- he is very responsive on his website to customer's needs
The transcripts are definitely worth it. They also come with an accompanying worksheet, so what you're really getting almost amounts to a textbook. The one thing I would love to see is an option to download only the conversational dialogue (maybe inside the paid site as extra incentive?)”Read full review »
