Description
In this week’s episode, Ali and Hannah spend time with fat-positive health coach and body liberation facilitator, Tiana Dodson. From her beginnings as a mechanical engineer to becoming a passionate advocate for body liberation, Tiana’s journey has led to a career all about helping people discover how personal, community, and global liberation are interconnected. In this episode, Ali, Hannah, and Tiana dive deep into what it’s like to live in a multi-marginalized body, the quest for belonging, and how diet culture falsely promises to fulfill that need. They explore the evolution of Tiana’s practice, shaped by her experiences as a resourceful, adaptable, biracial, queer, and neurodivergent powerhouse! What’s it like attending health coaching school as a fat person? How can I find belonging without changing myself? What does a body liberation facilitator do? How is white supremacy connected to diet culture? Join the conversation and get ready for an enlightening discussion that challenges norms and empowers you to embrace your most authentic self!
