Oh how the mighty have fallen. It deeply saddens me to say, but MLST went from my weekly go-to to a hard pass. The shift towards sponsored content is painfully obvious, with some episodes feeling more like infomercials. The "interviews” come off as nothing more than a platform for founders...Read full review »

Lots of potential and a great host usually but there are too many episodes (most recent included) where he brings on someone who does not know how to debate for a debate. Great example is that Connor keeps taking air time. It really ruins the quality and feels like a high school debate being...Read full review »

A clear labour of love, highly technical and fun, and quite different to many out there.

One of the best podcasts for machine learning, data science, artificial intelligence and research in related fields. The guests and discussion are second to none. Thank you so much for this content!

Best technical AI podcast that exists no question. You’ll learn something new every episode.

Brilliant episode on the philosophy of information. So good I didn’t even notice any music 🫣 Every technology to date has been a reflection of the ever present human ego & desire for power, profit & control of worldly resources & territories. Can AI systems ultimately learn to...Read full review »

Please don’t use music while people are talking. I just listened to the new episode with David Chalmers, but it was very difficult due to the music.

Naom Chomsky interview was AMAZING. I listened twice and followed up on every thread he mentioned. Props to interviewers for asking leading questions, and fixing up the audio. IF this podcast does nothing else again ever, it will have been worth it to capture this great man's (final?)...Read full review »

I love these guys. They’re the real deal. They dig into tough topics with A-list guests. And as someone who builds deep learning models and has seen them come up short enough times, I absolutely appreciate all the time devoted to discussions of formal reasoning and symbolic systems.

Great Podcast! The title of my review is the first episode I listened to. It gave very rich insight into the challenges that AI pioneers/enthusiasts have faced and are currently facing. The episode also gave insight into novel practices and models (e.g GPT-3) in AI. I recommend this to anyone...Read full review »

Have been away from the AI field since the mid 1990’s so for me, being out of the loop would be an understatement. I have been listening to this podcast and it has recreated an excitement for the field again. The hosts and guests take on current and complex AI topics and discuss them in a manner...Read full review »
