The Fall Of MLST
Oh how the mighty have fallen. It deeply saddens me to say, but MLST went from my weekly go-to to a hard pass. The shift towards sponsored content is painfully obvious, with some episodes feeling more like infomercials. The "interviews” come off as nothing more than a platform for founders to pitch their ventures. If I wanted a non-stop sales pitch, I’d tune in to a shopping network. Besides that, recent episodes have been filled with barely listenable drivel. Could not stand listening to the Albarracin episode for example. The overall production is also a disaster. I don't know why they feel the need to add unnecessary and distracting music over dialogue every chance they get. The YouTube presentations are no better, filled with unnecessary and awkward edits that detract from the core content. For anyone in search of a quality AI podcast, I regret to say the recent iteration of MLST misses the mark.
