You're not a weirdo
I thought this show might have been a downer about people battling depression and anxiety, but gave it a try, as I'm a fan of Paul Gilmartin (and especially of his satirical character Richard Martin). It really isn't. It's people sharing their stories of how their life struggles have shaped their personalities and motivations. It's about how junk that happened in your childhood can be left there - it may have happened TO you, but it's not ABOUT you. Listen to this podcast and learn something about yourself from people who may have had similar experiences. You will discover commonalities in the human experience and realize that it's OK to have resentments, but they don't define you. You're not a weirdo.Read full review »

This podcast manages to be a really good mix of fun and funny with a bit of warm fuzzyness thrown in. All crazy people should listen to this. ...Read full review »

Paul is a funny and likeable host. He has guests that are mostly entertainers and they talk about the impact mental illness has had on their lives. It feels very honest. It is serious a lot of the time but there are plenty of laughs.

I really enjoy listening to this podcast. The host and guests are very candid and open. They talk openly about their vulnerabilities as well as what they do to stay positive, deal with stress, and sometimes cope with mental health issues. And, it is funny.
