“There’s a lot of opinion and privilege that comes across in the host’s language that he uses to coach. “Don’t talk to me if you can’t hit your macros two days in a row” is a direct quote from the episode I listened to.
A good coach isn’t going to deny you access from advancing to the next level of your goal, they’re going to try to understand what’s getting in your way and work with you to break down barriers.
On top of poor coaching, the host inputs opinion based theories throughout the show which come across as “well this worked for me it must work for everyone” and if you’re not on par you’re failing.
I listened to one episode, so this is truly a review based on my short experience listening. But all in all, if you’re not a straight white man, and you are trying to lose weight or change your body in anyway, don’t listen to this podcast - it’s going to prevent you from trying.”
