Love Modern Love
I started subscribing to Modern Love a few weeks ago after listening to every previous episode in one day. I look forward to the new episode every week the way some people get excited about a new episode of "The Walking Dead." I enjoy that the episodes are about 20 minutes long so I can squeeze time to listen to the latest episode in my busy mom schedule (waiting for the school bus, in the car while running errands, etc.) unlike hour long podcasts that I feel I have to schedule time to listen. The stories are wonderful. They are funny and pull at the heart strings without making me cry in the parking lot of the grocery store. They are almost always uplifting and I like that there is an update/interview with the writer at the end. At first I wasn't sure I'd like having an actor/actress read the stories but since we get to hear from the writer (and often the editor) as well I find that I've really come to appreciate the art of voice acting that is given to the stories. I can't wait to hear what modern love story will be presented next. I highly recommend this podcast.Read full review »

This is a great podcast. If you enjoy the column in the NYT, you will enjoy this. The updates with the authors at the end are particularly interesting to hear.
