Shades of Chris Watts
I’m only on episode 2, but the convicted murderer’s family has spent it trashing the dead woman and her family, calling them over educated and blaming their son’s wife for getting pregnant—as if their son had no part in it. They also have the nerve to say the victim’s family was judgmental. They basically laid out the argument for why their son did it. I’ll keep listening though because it’s a good story and the host’s voice and presentation are good.

Season 2 is great so far. They take an unpopular and controversial approach to the case and that’s rare these days. Risk something! Season 1 is unlistenable and hard to follow but so far season 2 is on the mark.

I’ve only gotten through the second episode but so far it feels like the way they are portraying Kimberly vs the way they are portraying Chris is very biased and in poor taste. I’ve loved Lauren’s previous work so I’m going to hang in there with this but so far this podcast just feels “icky.”...Read full review »
