Good even for non-scientists, and recent changes introduce some fun
II have spent much of my adult life striving, mostly unsuccessfully, to take an interest in math and science. I decided to force myself to ingest some scientific cod liver oil every week via this podcast and I have been so pleasantly surprised! A lot of it goes over my head, but I do always feel like I’m learning something new and interesting. The hosts are funny and irreverent in a decorous way. Lately they have been trying to sex it up a bit, so now with your podcast subscription, you get a monthly piece of original short science fiction read aloud, as well as a monthly episode called "Backchat" in which the science journalists do a roundtable about the things they're working on, and that is always fun and interesting. The podcast also features women in a wholly non-tokenized way. This week's year-in-review episode includes a round of "scientific podcast charades” that was outright hilarious. So all in all, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.Read full review »

More reviews of Nature Podcast
Where better to get your science updates than from the science journal that has the highest impact factor? Nature has all the science content that you could want. GREAT PODCAST!

I can recommend the Nature podcast to everyone in the world. It might be the best podcast about science available.

These guys are not as smart as they think they are. Each week they produce highly predictable guesses masqueading as science. They should interview competing theories as opposed to taking sides on speculation.
