Watching the double digit sequels.........so we don't have to!
I came across this podcast by chance on iTunes back during the Star Trek retrospective and have been following it ever since. The shows are great fun to listen to with half the fun coming from the hosts interplay and banter with each other as much as the critical analysis. The idea of going through film series's in order is used very effectively as we get an idea of the up's and downs and the different creative decisions taken along the way. While the trawl through the holy trinity of 80's slasher movies was cool the recent moves towards Scorsese and Karate Kid are to be welcomed as we get to broaden the scope of the show (and spare the Hosts more sequels that start getting in the double digits.) It should also be noted that the production standards of the show are excellent too, with crystal clear sound and nifty intro/outro pieces using music and dialogue. Keep up the good work.....and if I could add in a request, I'd love to see you guys go through the James Bond Series, though admittedly it would take forever. All the best from Dublin Ireland.Read full review »

The interplay between these guys (and girls), the appealing sound of their voices and the sense of humor they all exhibit make this one a blast. Wish they disagreed a little more but otherwise awesome! And my favorite podcast to date.

These guys (and Marjorie) bring a lot of fun and passion to the movies they review. I listen to all their episodes even those where I do not every intend on seeing the films.
