Shouldn't Have Been Reluctant
When I found out about this podcast, I was initially reluctant to subscribe. I'm always very relcutant to pick up any "How To Write" book. I've graduated film school, I'm writing every day and I've even been comissioned for some jobs -- therefore, in my mind, I don't need any help. I know how to write. I actually gave this one a try due to my love for Never Not Funny (a different podcast that Matt Belknap produces and that regularly features Pilar's hysterical husband, Pat Francis). I'm so glad I did. This podcast is a wonderful way to end the week and is full of helpful hints and tips. The interviews with established writers and producers are invaluable and I'm constantly finding myself being reminded of the "rules" of good screenwriting. It's fun, it's light, it's informative and there's really no reason you shouldn't be listening to this.Read full review »

Fun and informative podcast about screenwriting and goes beyond to talk about the business of hollywood. Pilar is a true professional.

Pilar speaks from experience and in a down to earth style and she always makes it fun. I don't mind the small fee for...Read full review »
