Beautiful Storytelling
Absolutely beautiful story telling! I’ve listened to every season multiple times and usually with first person podcasts it sometimes can feel like someone reading you a book and therefore become easily ignored in the background BUT NOT WITH THIS PODCAST! While the story’s character changes with every season, it’s engaging and the story teller leaves the listener enraptured into her world and mind, waiting with baited breath till the next episode to find out what really happened. The story is incredibly well written and finds an unique balance between hiding important information in the supposedly mundane comments you might not catch if your not careful and painting you a detailed picture of her world. I’ve never heard anything like it and each season gets better and better and truly pushes the envelope on what a first person story can do and how it can impact you. The themes are genuine and organic and are folded between the sentences so artfully that you don’t even realize your addressing them until you’ve reached the end with a profound realization and certainty. One of my favorites!

I...Read full review »

I listen to quite a few horror podcasts but, aside from finding them interesting, they never unnerve or seriously affect me. This one did. Season 1 of Palimpsest is one of...Read full review »

Palimpsest is sheer perfection for a horror driven story that has a multitude of twists and turns. Two series in and two very different stories and both superbly done. The narrator and protagonist on both series was fantastic but there is something so soothing and engaging about the VA’s voice...Read full review »
