“What's not to like about two gamers talking about games while enjoying their whisky/whiskey? This podcast isn't filler, like many other gaming podcasts out there, but instead is meaty and complex. And while sometimes filler is enjoyable enough, there are other times when you want something you can really sink your teeth into.
But complex doesn't always mean smooth. Sometimes Jim's curmudgeonliness is a little overpowering. Sometimes Eric's optimisim about every game is eye-roll-inducing. But what what I LOVE about this podcast is that regardless of whether or not I agree with what they are saying, there is a good discussion taking place that makes the listening experience worthwhile.”Read full review »

“Hands down my favorite podcast. I enjoy the banter, the games discussions are excellent. I’ve purchased an above average amount of whiskey since live started listening. I even like the music talk even though our tastes don’t always jibe. It’s exactly what I want in a podcast.
