I'm a new listener for the past 3 months. I love the laid back approach. When I listen, I feel like I'm sitting around with friends after a good night of gaming - sharing a drink, listening to some tunes and dissecting our latest board game acquisition. I like this show, but the long rambling parts don’t do the show any favours. The boardgame discussion is always good, even the music and whiskey is alright, but 50 minute rants about airlines aren’t interesting. Eric and Jim sound like old buddies just shooting the breeze, but manage to do it while still engaging energetically - and in detail - about board games.
