Narration Gets Out of the Listener's Way
The adventure in this book is not so much the supposedly essential "conflict", but the exploration of a new world. It hearkens back to the first golden age of science fiction, though better written. The author narrates with a flat effect that gets out of the way of the story, which makes the podcast more like reading the book and less like listening to a movie, allowing the listener to create all the "special effects" in their own head.Read full review »

Excellent story or request would be to have the music equalized with the story, sometimes the music is so loud i dont catch whats said dring the recap and it gets annoying to turn it down when i play the next episode each time since it's much louder
