There’s no doubt the podcast formerly Remainiacs was going to, and had to change towards events. The era of the post-referendum wars, before Covid and pre withdrawal-deal was a different time and the Remainiacs podcast was a different context, you only have to watch documentaries on this era to...Read full review »

Really think the mix will f people on this podcast puts it above the rest. Although Alex is my favourite! Keep on podding on!

A politics show with no range of political viewpoints. No debates, no exchange of ideas, just an endless queue of centrist journalists who follow the New Statesman and Labour right lines to the letter. Maybe worth a listen just to see how brazen they all are in their partisanship. Pretty...Read full review »

I really rely on this podcast for a much needed sense of perspective on the news and politics! Great team, always interesting views. Keep up the good work

I used to love OGWN. It was the first of podcast I paid for. But the quality of the show has severely deteriorated over the past few years. During Brexit and Covid, guests used to be serious analysts who brought information to the table that one can only find in specialist journals. Since Ian and...Read full review »

Ok Sunak won’t make comments regarding Russia because he is aligned to India leaders rhetoric He never speak out simply because he doesn’t want to or need too He busy crafting a career elsewhere and he got to think of bigger picture regarding his family and their business dealings! The sooner he...Read full review »

I know it’s a serious podcast and all but Alex Rees has such a sexy voice when he reads the closing credits…! Thank you and good luck with your next adventure. (Love the rest of you as well).

I LOVE Oh God, What Now? The world is so DARK right now, so sometimes I have trouble getting up the *will* to face the news. I love this pod because it’s a fresh take that acts as a “spoon full of sugar” as I keep up-to-date of what’s going on in the world. That’s why it’s my go-to for news,...Read full review »

Very pleased to hear him on the podcast. Thrilled to have him in Wales and well done on learning our language. Excellent Welsh accent. Da iawn.

Wow
In the first minutes of this week’s episode, I was shocked by Alex Andreou’s analysis of the stance to take on Israel’s bombings. So calculating, and not a second spent considering the humanity of the civilians being bombarded. While we are “nudging” Netanyahu towards the right direction, people...Read full review »

I think the show has drifted a lot, often find myself skipping episodes now.

Thank you to all the team for bringing wit to their indignation.

Alex and Dorian still shine but too often now the thing has ended and I’d stopped really listening. Struggles for relevance
Bibziller via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 09/24/23
Big fan-boy of the early stuff, it felt really focussed and purposeful, cathartic and professional. With Alex, Ian, and Dorian in every episode the quality of discourse remained excellent (even if there was quite a lot of seemingly random swearing). Unfortunately there has been a drop in the...Read full review »

An often good podcast - and funny - but most if not all of the presenters have thrown women under the bus for the gender identity lobby.

Fabulous and wide-ranging intelligent discussion - great podcast. I was horrified, however, to hear your gloating discussion of boxing. This is surely an abhorrent and retrograde relic masquerading as 'sport'. An activity which lauds the deliberate damage inflicted on an opponent, so...Read full review »

Such a shame. I used to religiously listen to this (going back to the days of Remainiacs), where Dunty, Dorian, Andrew and Ros would keep morale up through the Brexit wars up until recently. However, new presenters and different regular guests have made this unlistenable.

Great pod, genius titles and I will listen to anything Alex Andreo is speaking on, he’s fabulous and fast becoming a national treasure

I love the show and can’t stand mr Farage BUT your report was Lazy at best and misleading guys ?? Come on we all hate him but be a bit more accurate … 1. Yes he did not meet the criteria - agreed close the ac 2. They only offered a NatWest ac when he went public - not automatically 3. He was...Read full review »

… must be good! I’ve been listening for over a year and never disappointed. Clever, witty and great analysis … yes some will find it the wrong side of their echo chamber but then there’s plenty available elsewhere … Something I also find refreshing is the amount of wonderful female contributors …...Read full review »

There’s a lot to like about this show. Been listening for years. Incredibly insightful and engaging. But one issue I have is the rotation of presenters, particularly the over abundance of Alex Andreou. I really like him and all the others but I feel I hear Andreou constantly as if he’s the...Read full review »

Followed since it was Remainiacs, OGWaN Not so memorable and has lost its edge somewhat. Enjoy the discussions but tends to middle class parent groupthink, it does sound like a chat/moan in the pub sometimes.

Please stop the hysterical cackling. I’m surprised that professional wordsmiths lack the ability to express thoughts without with copious F words as emphasisers. This podcast is rather pleased with itself and Alex is the person whose views I’m most interested in.

Absolutely love Alex A but now he has left (with typical good grace) the podcast has just got increasingly shrill and bordering on the ridiculous, and it is up to the guests to talk sense to the hosts. This week the recommendation to fight Brexit was to help people hit by floods. A great...Read full review »

I’m listening to the back catalog to get Brexit history. The November 10, 2017 episode talks disinformation, bots, and troll farms. Then mentions a troll farm in Ohio. Huh? Maybe it was a joke but no one laughed. I wish I could post a photo but go ahead and look up trolls in Dayton Ohio....Read full review »

While sometimes entertaining and sometimes informative, some of the hosts, no doubt patting themselves on the back for how liberal they are, come close to racism when attacking Sunak. “We like people of color, but only our people of color, who know their place and are not rich, well-educated...Read full review »

Her first few words: “nice, lovely” etc entirely in keeping with her emptiness. Says little of note. Adheres to standard centrist lines. Anodyne in the extreme. Little wonder she was implicated in Labour’s 2015 loss - yet now has a comfortable life denigrating Corbyn without any proposals for...Read full review »

First time listening to this podcast. It overall seems informative. Love, love, love this podcast. Even got the t-shirt. I’m so tuned-out of the political news on TV as it feels either heavily filtered or censored. This is pure, unadulterated political opinion by genuine people. It just feels real and things are said, as they are. I feel the future of honest...Read full review »
