The cast changes over the years, but the spirit continues. As long as Andrew Harrison is there with his reassuring Dad humour, all will be well with the world. An island of sanity.

The panel display as much bile as those they criticise.

Quite a few times in the last year episodes have been released on the Free Ad supported channel as “Subscribers only”. The episode plays fine on iTunes (with adverts!) but not on the iPhone podcast app which blocks playback without a subscription to the Podmasters channel. The latest occurrence...Read full review »

I like the show and subscribe. Today I was subjected to a really lousy advert at the beginning. Stop now! I subscribe to avoid adverts and support your work -don’t alienate me.

Used to be a visceral podcast of challenge to a stifling Brexit orthodoxy. Now just a smug fan club for the Labour government. Boring.

Groupthink among the kind of “lefty” that reckons homophobia and racism are fine so long as it wins elections for their team. I expected people who have spent this much time reading and writing to know the subject better.

Excellent episode on the fascist and the furious. Should be compulsory listening for all politicians and the ‘mainstream’ media

All your commentators offer such interesting points of view on many issues. Thank you.

Insightful, intelligent and interesting. This podcast is excellent and provides unique insights and hot takes that set it apart from many other political podcasts. The occasional use of F bombs is something I find quite jarring and risks cheapening what is otherwise a superb listen, but that...Read full review »

Thank you to the cast and production team of this podcast for keeping me sane since I discovered you in January 2024. There isn’t an episode when I haven’t learned something or been made to consider a new perspective. Essential listening.

Loved the most recent episode on the Labour Party’s victory. A dare to hope that things could in fact improve, with a balanced assessment of the election to boot. Thanks for your company now and for the last few years

Just listened to ‘Election Aftermath’. Cried with Andrew & Ros, and loved Dorian giving us permission to exult in the victory! Thanks to the team for keeping us sane while the Tories burned everything to the ground over the last few years..

If only all politicians were of this calibre, why isn’t she on the opposition front bench? Great podcast!

The first mention of Brexit being mentioned - in a Podcast that bravely used to be called Remainiacs - in the TV ‘debate’ came equally late in the review of it. Marks given to Stephen Flynn, which was fair, but then the bizarre suggestion SNP and Plaid were on ‘easy mode’ because they could never...Read full review »

Love your podcast. Listening from Australia. Just wanted to let you know that two of our Prime Ministers were unseated at an election. The first was Stanley Melbourne Bruce and the second ,the glorious unseating of John Howard. This is in response to one of your commentator’s remark that she...Read full review »

OK it’s a podcast. And it’s at least as good as the best of radio plus it’s usually more topical. I particularly appreciate the humour, the insight and the quality of the voices of Ros and Alex.

An okay podcast that often has hit and miss panellists and can feel just a wee bit smug. Alex is incredibly insightful and naturally entertaining but often plays second fiddle to other less able hosts. The show seems to be unable or unwilling to play with the format and improve and seems to...Read full review »

Best podcast going. I love them all but particularly Alex and Marie. I listen to all the political pods but this one is by far my fave. Sadly the excitement felt when it hits my inbox is huge

There’s no doubt the podcast formerly Remainiacs was going to, and had to change towards events. The era of the post-referendum wars, before Covid and pre withdrawal-deal was a different time and the Remainiacs podcast was a different context, you only have to watch documentaries on this era to...Read full review »

A politics show with no range of political viewpoints. No debates, no exchange of ideas, just an endless queue of centrist journalists who follow the New Statesman and Labour right lines to the letter. Maybe worth a listen just to see how brazen they all are in their partisanship. Pretty...Read full review »

I used to love OGWN. It was the first of podcast I paid for. But the quality of the show has severely deteriorated over the past few years. During Brexit and Covid, guests used to be serious analysts who brought information to the table that one can only find in specialist journals. Since Ian and...Read full review »

I know it’s a serious podcast and all but Alex Rees has such a sexy voice when he reads the closing credits…! Thank you and good luck with your next adventure. (Love the rest of you as well).

I LOVE Oh God, What Now? The world is so DARK right now, so sometimes I have trouble getting up the *will* to face the news. I love this pod because it’s a fresh take that acts as a “spoon full of sugar” as I keep up-to-date of what’s going on in the world. That’s why it’s my go-to for news,...Read full review »

Wow
In the first minutes of this week’s episode, I was shocked by Alex Andreou’s analysis of the stance to take on Israel’s bombings. So calculating, and not a second spent considering the humanity of the civilians being bombarded. While we are “nudging” Netanyahu towards the right direction, people...Read full review »

Alex and Dorian still shine but too often now the thing has ended and I’d stopped really listening. Struggles for relevance

Big fan-boy of the early stuff, it felt really focussed and purposeful, cathartic and professional. With Alex, Ian, and Dorian in every episode the quality of discourse remained excellent (even if there was quite a lot of seemingly random swearing). Unfortunately there has been a drop in the...Read full review »

Fabulous and wide-ranging intelligent discussion - great podcast. I was horrified, however, to hear your gloating discussion of boxing. Such a shame. I used to religiously listen to this (going back to the days of Remainiacs), where Dunty, Dorian, Andrew and Ros would keep morale up through the Brexit wars up until recently. However, new presenters and different regular guests have made this unlistenable.

I love the show and can’t stand mr Farage BUT your report was Lazy at best and misleading guys ?? Come on we all hate him but be a bit more accurate … 1.
