“Great concept but I wish you would do some research on some of the revivals started by some of these preachers. I was raised in Laestadism, the revival started by Lars Levi Laestadius and his sermon is nothing like I ever heard growing up. Laestadians today don't even understand the concept of Grace and believe that they have the power to forgive sins on earth given to them by the Holy Spirit. Therefore they are the o ot people saved and consider all other Christian's "unbelievers." They discourage their members from reading the Bible and have even stated that if the congregation goes against the Bible that they side with the congregation because the congregation has the Holy Spirit. I don't know how this religion has taken such a left turn from LLL original teachings but it was so interesting to listen to that episode.”Read full review »

“I really enjoy this podcast which I’ve listened to for at least a year. They discuss sometimes obscure Jesus Followers which often are overlooked in many Christian history books. Hearing the actual sermons read is especially appreciated.”
