Yes, He Candor
The most curious thing about Sam Fragoso's interview style is how effortlessly he weaves the political and the personal and how much a part of himself is embedded to all of his inquiries. It doesn't derail the interview into unprofessionality, by any means. Rather, it accentuates the best parts of learning about someone, in this case both the subject and the interviewer. His ability to get his subjects to have candor as well as his own embodiment of that feels reflexive and is always impressive.Read full review »

I just listened to the episode with Jenny Slate and it was quite excellent. The conversation felt completely natural and non-interview-y in a way that I think a lot of podcasts aim for but few achieve. Really great.
