Therapeutic and Refreshing
Talk Easy feels akin to a podcast version of Linklater's "Before" trilogy in its ability to take an ordinary idea--two people have a somewhat rambling, honest conversation for a long time--and turn it into something fresh and compelling. In this post-election season, listening to Talk Easy on my commute has been deeply therapeutic; it's reminded me of the significance of listening to the Other, taking in and reflecting on their stories and ideas.
