Give a little smile and a thumbs up, or just go and listen to something else if you don’t like it? He’s trying his best, has some decent guests and unlike people like Faux Rogan, he seems to actually be interested in balanced debate and trying to learn. He’s not perfect. He doesn’t have to agree...Read full review »

The episode with Helen Lewis was my first listen. Thoughtful, challenging, intelligent and well-informed moderation with some humour in the mix. A light listen with meaningful content.

Great comedy podcast with lots of cool guests

Fallen off since he started supporting Joanne Rowling and platforming both sides of a culture war that aims to demonise and diminish trans folks right to exist.

Love Adam. Love his gentle ramble chat.

I think it’s weird to hear grown adults calling their parents or late parents Mummy & Daddy. My Grand daughter was aged 10 when she wanted to stop calling her parents Mummy & Daddy.

One of the most interesting, funny and aware things ever to enter my ears. Fantastic

It seems Adam still hates women fighting for their safe spaces, fairness in sport and dignity. I pity his daughter. Oh, and to all the new reviewers bleating on about ‘trans’ ‘rights’. You can do one.

Love the pod cast but that last episode was a had listen most unlikeable person you’ve had on Just my opinion could be wrong

Loved this, what a wordsmith and entertainer. Great that you got him to read his and other’s poetry…fabuloso

Helen Lewis? The transphobe Helen Lewis? Next time you get into a chat with someone about Graham L again I shall take your supposed disgust at him with a pinch of salt.

What a guest. Parrot in a case was the funniest thing I’ve heard this year. I like how Adam makes the podcast all about the guest. Some of the podcasters out there have too much ego. Adam is just natural and real.

I’d be up for organising a crowdfunder to get ‘parrot in a car’ commissioned. Great ep. :)

i considered adam buxton to be more thoughtful and ethical than to platform a pro-israel TERF one year into a genocide. i was wrong about him.

The John cooper Clarke episode had me in stitches 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
BFbelinda via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 10/15/24
I wrote a snotty review about virtue signalling, as the guests had become one dimensional and preachy. However, by adding an injection of sanity with Helen Joyce, and the hilarious John Cooper Clarke - a reminder of what funny and talented is - a return to classic ramble territory has ensued....Read full review »

I’m a Podcat through and through but this recording almost did me in…..in a good way! 13 minutes in and I can hardly breathe…it rolls from lack of diversity to Parrot In A Car to a boulder twice the size of my own head. Adam and producer splitting their sides adds ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Also, thank...Read full review »

Halfway through the John cooper Clarke interview I found myself thinking how better it would have been with another interviewer. What a waste. Adam seems to just want to bring it back to him plus he can’t cope with anyone who isn’t London media elite.

…but you’re giving me so many transphobic and mysoginistic reasons recently to make me doubt my earlier adoration. Just listened to John Cooper Clarke. It was entertaining. But he’s not a doctor. Don’t call him “Dr” 17 times. It’s ridiculous!!!!!! He won it in a (life) raffle!!!!!!!!

The first podcast I ever listened to and still the best podcaster, guests and conversation. Perfect to listen to any day of the week.

My absolute favourite podcast, head and shoulders above all the others. Adam’s mix of good-humoured silliness and serious questions really gets the best out of guests who’re more reticent in the hands of lesser broadcasters. Just seen the John Cooper-Clarke episode drop and can’t wait; keep up...Read full review »

I never leave reviews but I think it is important to say that while I used to love Adam so much, I can’t listen anymore. Why do you insist on giving a platform to such hate? Helen Lewis and those like her genuinely contribute to the pain and suffering of so many young people who just want to be...Read full review »

Bladdy hell.. poor Adam! Feels like he well and truly can’t win on the culture wars stuff. People saying they’re ‘hurt’ that he spoke to Helen Lewis, and calling it the ‘final straw’ - have a word with yourselves. I personally was a little disappointed when I listened .. it sounded to me like...Read full review »

This used to be a favourite but you can tell Adam isn’t interested any more. That’s fine as people change - I don’t expect it to be the glory days of the 6Music show, those times have gone for us all. But the guests and subjects have got pretty tedious.

I usually love you, Adam, so it feels incredibly sad that you’ve given a platform to such hatred… it’s really disappointing and surprising…

Some of the discussions on here are dressed up as polite, rational and reasonable debate, but Helen Lewis was the final straw. I listened through the whole thing and it is vile, but masked as a friendly chat. Some of her points were so off, factually incorrect, and will actively harm the trans...Read full review »

Stopped listening for a bit as was getting a bit tired of the same old same old but god what has happened to Adam ? The virtue signalling is off the charts, even if it’s at the detriment of women. You’ve a daughter Adam.

I do really enjoy Adam’s podcasts however unfortunately the last episode with Helen Lewis was such a let down. Letting her get away with such sweeping statements without questioning her showed a complete cowardice of interview style.
