Disappointed
Full disclosure - I only listened to one episode, the very first one, about boundaries. It struck me as odd that the very first guest seemed very neurotypical to me, talking about identifying the changes that needs to be made and steps to take action. When I hear that, I immediately shut down because I don’t know if there’s anything that can be more frustrating that this approach for an ADHD person who is carving the change but has a lot of obstacles on the way - oh, I don’t know, memory issues, impulsivity, distractibility… When someone boldly lays out a plan to DECIDE to make a change and just take action, I know I am not seen and I should not waste my time.
