Jeffrey Goldberg is awesom
Jeffrey Goldberg does a different kind of interview than others I listen to (Fresh Air, Diane Rehm, 1A, etc). He's funny in a very dry way and a bit snarky but cuts to the chase. I find his style quite refreshing and look forward to this podcast every week. I see some reviewers think he's disrespectful and inserts himself too much, or is arrogant. I was so excited to listen to the Nikole Hannah-Jones interview but Goldberg’s style made this almost unlistenable. He interrupts; he doesn’t listen; he is defensive. Go on Ezra Klein’s show, Nikole! He would give you the time and respect that you deserve.

Like many others, I wanted to enjoy this podcast but found the host clueless about ways to discuss race. He interrupts often and makes it difficult for the interviewees to articulate their thoughts. Does not live up the standards one expects from The Atlantic. What a shame.

Chimamanda Adichie is brilliant. And charming. I could listen to her for hours IMHO, the two interviewers, Goldberg and Coates, are a little light in the loafers here.
