An unmissable, affectionate pisstake crammed full of joyous wit and humour. The hosts are adorable, and so welcoming it’s as if you’re right there drinking cider with them. Badger! Beaver! Thank you!

Best gang ever cos we aren’t stabby. We are a middle class gang who like in jokes about badgers, beavers and sausages. Our cheese is egg shaped and please don’t ask about the brand name of our nappies. This is why you should listen to The Cider Shed. Big love, Red Agnes.

I have no idea how long it must take them to prep and do but they are brilliant and funny. Just like sinking into a warm bath of bubbles rather than upside down in the River Am in Mick’s car listening to his Marillion tapes… 😂 Find myself laughing out loud at the word “Badger” now…

I came to this via another Archers podcast fan - of poisonous pigeon fame - but this one ticks so many boxes - I listen when insomnia kicks in and instead of soothing me to sleep I start shaking with laughter and wake up my partner . This only normally happens with Three Bean Salad, who are...Read full review »

I’ve only been listening to The Archers for about 15 years, and for most of that I’ve been a solo listener. For the last few years I’ve been listening with my mum and we’ve loved chatting about what the characters are up to, and asking each other “have you listened yet!?” as we’ve been excited to...Read full review »

Full disclosure: I only found this podcast a few months ago (when the car went off the bridge and I needed to hear someone else’s opinion, amidst friends that don’t listen and think me insane) - but I beg you, please go on forever. Life is stressful sometimes, and you guys make me forget any...Read full review »

Great duo who give an hilarious irreverent analysis of the week at our favourite farming village. Love that this Ambridge podcast is the first to arrive of all the rest- gets my vote any time. Great comedic timing of jingle interjections. Keep it going!

It was not 300g (10.6 ounces), but GBP 300,000 worth of cheese!

I can’t say that is for sure true because I haven’t listened to the others but when I’ve tried I’ve not made it through a whole episode whereas this one I’ve listened to every week since it started. It just gets better. Love having people to confirm my thoughts/ feelings about the archers!!

Having listened to the Archer’s for 56 years, I have to say discovering your podcast has given a whole new dimension to my listening. Knowing there are other fans who feel the same about some of the characters and plot lines makes me feel like I have found my tribe. Keep up the excellent work....Read full review »

Those of us who religiously listen to The Archers both love it and totally feel bewildered by it, this podcast totally gets the humour, I found this via the Twitter feed and thoroughly enjoying it so far. BADGER!

I love listening to the pod when I’m running (very slowly!). I recently became a Patron and recommend this for the extra content Thank you for great insights into the madness that is The Archers!

Archers chat made by people who I would actually like to hang out with! Keri, Matthew, and sometimes Peter, not only hit on all the hot goss in Ambridge, they do so with a genuine warmth and wit that envelopes listeners in an affable bubble. Thanks for the pod, y’all!

This is a long overdue review of the cider shed. For many years, I have listened to the archers alone with no one to discuss it with or commiserate over this weird show. I have now listened to every single episode both the regular show and the midweek specials on patreon. I now feel like I have...Read full review »

I joined the patreon specifically to show my appreciation for the Pat Chat jingle, it makes me laugh like a drain each time. I cannot get enough Pat Chat it is so funny. (Don’t really care about actual Pat though.) The rest of the podcast is nice too!!

If you are daft enough to torment yourself by listening to The Archers, then this is the antidote. Matthew and Kerri make script writers look themselves in the mirror and weep, whilst the rest of us laugh. Can’t recommend it highly enough; genuinely laugh out loud funny.

The Cidershed podcast is one of the highlights of my week – Keri and Matthew draw in the listener with their genuine rapport, good humour and love of the ridiculous, not to mention the nitty gritty detail that marks true Ambridge afficionados. Great pod. I listen in bed and sometimes nod off. I rewind and catch up the next night. I’ve listened to TA for over fifty years and dislike most of the characters.

Been listening for a few months now. Wanted to write something witty but soon realised that I could not compete with the razor sharp Matthew and Kerry. They really are a godsend for all us fans with no Archers’ friends to laugh along with. Five Stars all the way.

I’ve been a secret archers listener for a long time - “secret” as whenever I tentatively test the waters with friends asking if they had ever caught the weird goings on in Ambridge, I am always met with a resounding “No”, general laughter and “what are you, 80?”… Well, no more shame! I originally came to The Archers for Rob & Helen all those years ago but other plots & characters couldn’t hold my attention. After TWENTY SIX years of committed listening, six evenings per week, to The Archers I have to say my interest was starting to wane - to the extent I would just read the blurb on BBC Sounds to keep up with the stories and then listen to to the Friday night episode (if I could be arsed). A great sideways look at the archers, I listen straight after the omnibus on a Sunday. 5 stars And I, Keri, would just like to take a moment to say that I’ve taken a u turn on my thoughts about Adam and realise that I actually love him and all his loggisms.

Love Matthew and Keri! It’s worth becoming a Patreon to get an Archers fix on a Saturday. This is the most down to Earth Archers fan pod. I love Ambridge on the Couch too - but Matthew and Keri are more relatable. The ads are brilliant, as are the mid week episodes. A must for Serious Archers Fans.

Listen to all the pods because the real life shenanigans in this niche world are just as entertaining as TA itself. TCS is the most irreverent - and hilariously entertaining. Thank you!

I gave up Twitter / X & have recently discovered the delights of The Cider Shed podcasts. It’s made me laugh out loud - I look forward to it more than I do The actual Archers now. I really wanted to think of something witty to write but I can’t - so I’ll just say THANK YOU!
